Amazon has announced an agreement with the National Basketball Association (NBA), according to which new artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities developed by AWS over the course of their partnership will be instituted in:
- All aspects of media production and distribution
- Private, client-, and fan-based services
- Team personnel operations at both sports arenas and venues

- Ability to detect 29 individual points of reference on a player’s body, delivering an unprecedented level of insight into player performance and game dynamics

- AI-powered advanced stats and analytics on the NBA App and NBA.com, offering fans in-depth analysis of player performances and game tactics
- Play Finder, a new feature enabling fans to locate and watch specific plays for a personalized and interactive viewing experience
